WHY JOSHUA TREE?
Joshua Tree, California holds a special place in my heart. Growing up in Southern California, Joshua Tree is only a two-hour drive from my hometown. This beautiful desert was likely my first true experience with nature; it was the first time I felt small in the vast universe around us. It taught me what it meant to embrace stillness in a busy world. Years later, I spent two weeks in Joshua Tree completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training, which further deepened the special connection I have with this town. Having the chance to share this magic with others is such an honnor. Joshua Tree is filled with beautiful clear skies, the best stargazing, and enchanting desert magic. The park itself has a prehistoric feel, as if a giant dinosaur could cross your path at any moment.
It is said the Joshua tree plant represents the connection between nature and the spiritual world. It is considered a sacred plant that holds spiritual energy and fosters a deeper connection to the land and its ancient wisdom. The Joshua tree is also a symbol of transformation and growth due to its slow development and unique appearance. It embodies personal growth, transformation, and enlightenment.* Ah, How appropriate for a wellness weekend
